Romantic interests for your character?

Post » Wed Dec 07, 2011 5:22 pm

Just curious if any of your characters have romantic interests in any NPC's in the game as a friend, or anyone you could place in Skyrim as a potential spouse if you could? Both of my female Bretons think the pickings are kind of slim. One found Armande Christophe somewhat attractive, but both are hoping for better options in Skyrim. The like taming "Tony Soprano bad boy" types.

My only male character liked Tertia Viducia (Smith in Cheydinhal) of all people. She is pleasant, hard working and extremely "under-stated," walking around in that smithing apron and rag on her head all of the time. ME2 fans turned Tali Vas Normandy into a video game cult celebrity for the awesome manner in which she filled that Quorian space suit, resulting in legions of "Talimancers." If I would have continued his game, he definitely would qualify as a "Tertimancer."

My thief character has deep feelings for Methredhel, even though he won't admit it, since he is a loner.

I made a http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1233536-npc-relationships/page__p__18662104#entry18662104 like this not long ago

My main breton female character liked Maro Rufus who co-owns The Best Defence in the Market District. She broke into his basemant in the middle of the night to leave him a love-letter, only to discover a few vials of skooma! She didn't know if they were his or not but it still put her off. Otherwise she has a crush on my male redguard character (which as you can imagine is a bit complicated)

My male redguard character quite likes Branwen who trains outside the arena, but she won't talk to anyone so she's out as a potential partner.

My new nord male will bed anything that looks at him twice, so he doesn't tend to favour anyone (yet). I'm having a lot of fun with him at the moment, I might consider re-creating him for Skyrim. :lmao:

Wild Elf has a crush on one of the Legion Riders. This fellow patrols the Gold Road. I assume it's the same guy; I can't tell them apart, but Wild Elf surely can. She flirts with him, races around his horse, and plays hide-and-seek with him along the way. Sometimes she "helps" him with his wildlife control duties, especially the imps, which she hates. The other day she accidentally hit his horse, but fortunately the arrow wasn't poisoned, and it was not a serious wound. All seems to be forgiven now.

I'd swear I saw him wink at her last night, but maybe he just had something in his eye.

Wow, that was a great thread. I don't know how I missed it. I searched "Romance" prior to posting. Should have tried "relationships". Although I jest about necromancy, I also find it interesting that Falanu Hlaalu is so popular. I agree that she is a very appealing NPC in a strange sort of way.

 I love hearing these little stories.

Rayn sees the same guard everytime she goes to Bruma. He's always standing outside the gate, and he has the darkest skin she's ever seen. She can't even tell what race he is. He's darker than Arum, and Arum is a redguard! It's so comical. Everytime I see him I laugh but then feel sorry for him. The guy clearly has some sort of dreadful skin condition.

I couldn't really participate in Lady Mara's thread, just 'cuz I have the vanilla game *really hard to pull a relationship off in vanilla, for me anyways* but in thread

Renee Gade II and Dyan phor a'Cauz were both Fighter's Guild members, and both had the hots for Keld of the Isles. But the difference is Dyan wanted him to join her on her quests kinda like as a working boyfriend; wheras Renee just wanted to shag him. :hubbahubba:

Eradi~Kate doesn't have any interests. She just wants blood. Before she was a vamp, she pretty much never got interested in anybody. I think she may be asixual or something.

Nice to see you've been sticking around, Wtich Azreal. :)

I'd swear I saw him wink at her last night, but maybe he just had something in his eye.

Wow. Is she really that bad? Guess so. I have some characters who back out of any shop run by an orc or a lizardperson. They just won't even deal, unless for some reason they absolutely have to.

My decrepit avatar is too old act upon any romantic fancies he might still harbor. The blessings the Nine chose to bestowed upon him whilst he acted as their representative on Nirn went far to restore formerly atrophied physical and mental abilities. The Gods did not however, for good or ill, choose to revitalize that function. The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak, as the saying goes. As such his dealings with the opposite six are purely platonic, much as he sometimes wishes it could be otherwise.

He has great fondness for a number of women, Vilja first and foremost. His relationship with her remains that of a kindly uncle doting over a capricious young niece. He might inwardly pine for more, but is realistic enough to be content with what he has.

Then there is Nerussa. He was smitten with her at first sight. An infectious personality and easy on the eye. Successful business woman too.

He once found Pawen rather intriguing. His feelings toward her has cooled, but her presences remain a highlight of any Skingrad Fighters Guild stay.

Then there's that feisty Dunmer shoppe owner in Skingrad and .... no no, enough is enough. It's all rather silly anyway. Even in his prime my then-not-so-decrepit avatar was never much of a "ladies man". It's sort of ironic that during the entirety of his pre-Crisis existence he was not successful enough to attract the sort of women who appealed to him. Yet now that he has acquired both renown and financial security the physical attributes requisite for intimate relationship have abandoned him.

And one would assume the feeling is reciprocated, at least during those times...

My first serious character http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v90/subrosa_florens/oblivion/Oblivion554.jpg (my character before that was basically a throwaway that I used to learn how the game worked) had a crush on http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v90/subrosa_florens/oblivion/Oblivion192.jpg, but forgot all about that when she met http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v90/subrosa_florens/oblivion/Tadrose03.jpg (both NPCs have been modded for my game).

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v90/subrosa_florens/oblivion/Oblivion203.jpg went through the game scowling at everyone, except Raminus Polus, whom she always had a huge smile for. So major yummies there!

Agreed. She also has tons of charisma. My male character found her attractive, but was concerned about her ability to convert him to her preferred romantic state since she is a skilled alchemist. Tertia Viducia is a sweet heart, and so much safer in his eyes. However, if you ever venture upstairs in the March Rider and examine her preferred diet per her dining room table, you might change your mind. He simply cant argue with the way it allows her to augment a smith's apron. In any event, it is clear that there are more Falamancers than Tertiamancers in the Oblivion community.

Fully understand. Mazoga is indeed a beautiful spirit. Here’s a snip from Episode 95 of Buffy’s Journal:

* * *
Fumbling the package open with an impatient curiosity, I found a ring bearing the raised image of a rearing white horse. It was set into an oval background of jade, and looked very much like a tiny version of the Leyawiin shield. The ring had been wrapped in a piece of parchment that bore the firm strokes of a quill.

My Pal Dame Buffie,

The Count is real happy with all the black bows I keep bringing him. He gave me a couple rings, one for each of us. I had that smart Arhgoni Arghony lizerd fellow who is the smith make my ring big and yours little. I hope it fits good and you like it.

The Count says I been doing real good. I even talked him into offering his bounty on black bows to them fellows in the Fighters Guild, since that Blackwood outfit is steeling some of their contraks. If the guild does a good job, I might even be able to get some time off.

Oh, some orc showed up at the Lodge today with a letter from you and asking to be a knight. I'm gonna get the sparring blades out and see if he can fight, then maybe let him tag along next time I go get me some black bows. He looks pretty sturdy, but I'll let you know.

Good luck at Kavotch.

Your fellow Knight Erroniant, Sir Mazoga

The small ring, signifying a position of nobility, slid perfectly onto my finger. I looked at it through moist eyes for several moments, then whispered, "You were right when you told me not all women can be as beautiful as you, Sir Mazoga. Good luck with Agronak."

Well, just fyi there are over 3900 google entries for Falanu Hlaalu including a facebook fan page. There are also some interesting "http://michalesa.deviantart.com/art/Falanu-Hlaalu-163811471" of her character.

There were only 1200 entries for Tertia Viducia, although there is one individual who has a more vivid interpretation of her than my character.

After reading that, I am scared to check the status of Sir Mazooga and some of the other favorites.
