Just discovered today after 100+ hours of gameplay to uncover the fact that a collectible magazine is uncollectible given that Barney never spawned nor was the related quest given upon discovery of Salem.

Obviously this frustrates the jimmies from my testicles and instead leaves me with a pasted excretion: painful.. and otherwise worrisome.

If you guys would just put a chest out on a rock out at sea or some random [censored] to ensure that the key is findable regardless.

Give the man a boat chest, anything.

Just don't tie this collectible down with a dude who isn't even in the commonwealth by this point..

Don't know if he has gone to Black Mesa or been adopted by Narwhals and sold to ghoul whales for a little variety in sixual routine but nevertheless, whatever his habits may be.

I need his damn book.

It's ridiculously frustrating that this particular collectible magazine is NOT, in fact, collectible. I don't know how many times I wandered by the Rook house hoping to see NO two dead mirelurks on the front steps. But sadly, every time I walked by, there was all sorts of two dead mirelurks on the front steps. And no Barney Rook. And an open gate. And a locked basemant. And the overwhelming lack of a basemant key. And so many two dead mirelurks everywhere on the front steps.

And on top of that, it seems that any thread relating to this topic is basically a ghost town. I understand that a game of this size is going to have bugs, but to have no communication from Bethesda or whomever regarding this bug is sorta sad. It's great that PC gamers can use console commands to rectify this issue, but on PS4, the console commands me.
