[RELz] in_v_roomhf_01.nif

Post » Sun Nov 24, 2013 4:57 am

Just a little tweak I thought I would share. While testing a mod I noticed that the room tile in_v_roomhf_01 is textured oddly. Depending on your texture replacer...it can http://www.tesvskyrim.com/screenshot-2345-1 indeed. That one tile section's 'normal' texture is named Tx_wall_adobe_brown_01.tga, while the rest of the walls in the room use Tx_wall_adobe_brown_02.tga. So I changed Tri In_V_roomHF_01 3 in NifSkope to use Tx_wall_adobe_brown_02.tga to look like the rest of the room. https://www.dropbox.com/s/9pa30dvs7lctgjk/in_v_roomhf_01.7z for those that do not want to go through tweaking it themselves. Just extract to data files and all will be well. I also got rid of all the unresolved transforms in the nif too by the way. If someone would like to include this in one of their mesh fix compilations...feel free. :D

Nice... never noticed this, though.

 Well...as I stated...it can depend on your texture replacer. With Vibrant Morrowind...it is VERY obvious

Yes, I compared it to the original from the bsa and I also saw the difference now... But it is not as striking with my textures as with yours.

SH, would it be possible for you to package all of your single file fixes together? I realize you are doing new ones all the time, but maybe after you get five or ten in a row, you can upload a new "volume" ? All your fixes are really nice, but I'm not following the forums as closely as I used to and I'm worried I may have missed a couple.I

You could do one readme and then include the OP for each release thread for the individual files to explain what they do . . . I mean, if you had the time or the inclination.

Hmm...I'll have to put some thought into this...perhaps I'll make a combo thread like Hollaajith (I swear I constantly am looking that up to know how to spell it...lol). Most of my 'fixes' are such disparate things. It do not feel right to me to just bundle them all together when not everyone may want them. I will note there are also a number of my 'fixes' for things hiding under main files on MMH that I never really publicly announced..lol. Heck...I am not sure I even remember all those myself.

I have to second Elaura's request Spirit . You're doing a great job spotting those niggles and a single thread , single DL would be worth aiming at . Or , if not a single DL then one page ( here and at GHF ) to list them with current DL links .

I hope you don't mind, but I've added a 'release' tag so that people know they can look here for a download link
