Roughly 100ms of mouse lag that I can't get rid of.

Seriously, I've tried everything else I've seen on the internet.

  • Disabled engine v-sync
  • Tried game with disabled and enabled v-sync in the nvidia control panel.
  • Currently, I have engine v-sync disabled and v-sync forced to off via the nvidia control panel with FPS limited to 60 via nvidia inspector.
  • Disabled mouse Accelleration
  • Fixed mouse y axis movement
  • I'm currently in borderless windowed mode with resolution set to 1366x768. Fullscreen didn't make a difference.
  • All my .ini files are set to read only so the settings I've used cannot be reverted by the game.

I am on v1.1.30. I use a lot of mods, but the lag is there with and without mods. It was there from the start too.

Are you using the Beta patch? This fixes the mouse issues I had when I first launched it on release date.

No. I've been thinking about it, but I'm concerned it'll make some of my mods unstable. Thanks for telling me though. I didn't see anything about that in the change logs for v1.2.33. I might try it.

What mods are you using? ENB series? Are you sure vsync is disabled? Only way to be sure is to look up at the sky and see if the rates go over your monitors refresh.

The only ENB mod I'm using is the one that reduces stuttering and allows me to use RAM as VRAM. I only installed that yesterday though. Most mods are just content (e.g., Ssix and more crafting workbenches) and gameplay mods (e.g., custom survival difficulty and item stat changes) along with some lower resolution retextures and settlement light brighteners. The v-sync is definitely off. I get slightly over 80 FPS looking at the sky near my workshop in Sanctuary Hills (which means despite what I thought, my FPS limiter isn't on). My refresh rate is 60Hz.

Also, I just tried beta version 1.2.37 and that didn't fix the issue.

I don't get much delay when it comes to clicking the mouse to shoot, but I get a lot of delay when it comes to mouse movements. Like if I throw my mouse across my desk, the screen follows a moment later rather than immediately.

Using about 20 NMM mods myself and about 7 personal modded files and alternate textures I havent found any issues sofar with the Beta patch. Ofc if you do run into any issues you can select the regular version again without issue. The game loads the default in and you can play your save without prompt. I use among others, Ssix, 3 gore overhauls, AI tweaks, Darker nights, Light cell removals, Realistic lights, pip boy shadows, Extended deathcam, WET, Enhanced blood, more armor slots etc.

I'd say make a hard save, try the beta patch if it doesnt resolve it get back to the original and launch that save. Hope this helps.

I've already tried the beta version 1.2.37, but it didn't fix the problem.
