RoundTable Discussion for Brink

Good stuff...always good to hear some pro insight on what the game can accomplish and the potential it has from guys who have experience with previous SD games and other competitive games. I would like to see the console competitive scene to hopefully support this game(MLG,GB).

To be fair, I mostly heard them comment on things in Brink that were most like W:ET *shrugs*

The questions we not really the best either - thought it could have been more insightful in terms of mechanics.

Also, they talked about 5v5 in competitive play. What is the optimum team number for Brink. I was under the impression it was a 4v4 co-op game? Wouldn't 5 slightly throw out the initially desired mechanics?

The games supposed to be 8v8 and it's developed around the idea of there being 8 people on each team.

The optimum and desired team number is 8v8. But I believe for the competitive scene on PC and most likely consoles if the private match/custom game system is user friendly enough then it will be reduced to probably 5v5 or maybe 6v6. The maps are probably a bit too big for 4v4(unless there is a way to reduce the map size somehow, this is all unknown right now).
