Rowdy selling X-01 Chances

Post » Sun Jan 17, 2016 9:06 pm

Okay before anyone says anything I know X-01 is rare, it'd be logical that you can't always buy it but in some cases it gets ridicoulous. I go to Rowdy every 3 days for the last 4 real life weeks (this amounts to about 450 visits) and twice she has sold me a piece of X-01 armour. Like I've already said I know this armour is supposed to be rare but PC users are just gonna console the armour in at least let everyone get pieces on consoles. Just knock the chances of the armour being sold up.

*Personal Opinion here

Once you have enough level X-01 will drop for you. There are pieces in the game from the start but they are normally very hard to get.

You need a decent economy to support one well, they are expensive to fix. Mine highlights all life, flies and runs, a complete hoot.

I've found every power armour frame in the waste and I purposely grinded to level 35 to get as many X-01. The problem is apart from 4 suits the rest are torsos. I would like to complete them (OCD forbids that I use other armour pieces) and I have bought X-01 Pieces from Rowdy at the Atom Cats Garage. What I am saying is that the chances of her selling the armour is extremely low. I won't mind if to balance the chances increase that X-01 pieces are expense given that they are rare and the best pieces.

Yup. I pulled a T51 out of there at around level 22. Cost me several mini nukes.

Go visit the Prydwen's trader guy and carefully look behind him.

the first time I went up there its was a t-60 (I think I was at level 22) but already knew that it would eventually be a x-01 so I loaded up a earlier save and went back when I hit level 30 just to be sure.

I needed 2 pieces of X-01 to finish my set, I just waited at Rowdy's (48 or 72 hrs I forget) until her inventory reset, and eventually got the pieces I needed. Time consuming but worked.

Be aware that this location is still randomized. It's not guaranteed to be X-01 at any level, despite what many people seem to claim. I've gone there at level 82 and gotten T-60 (and verified that it wasn't the glitch that some have experienced there).

You know, if certain Factions like the BoS and althe Institute have the tech I don't see why they couldn't build you armor if you supply the raw materials, either from other PA sets or base materials.

These are kinda why Power Armour needs to be craftable because you can repair and upgrade the armour but you can't make it

There is s full suit of X-01 armor behind a door on top of this one building but trying to get it release two reasonably tough robots who attack you. When I got mine it was X-01 level 2. I have found several of the suits but I have never found a vendor with an X-01 part.

bob the vendor is Rowdy at the Atom Cats Garage. Now and again she might have a X-01 Piece for sale. My complain is that with the rarity of said pieces, I would rather have the armour more commonly for sale but at a much higher piece. Because I have bought X-01 Pieces from her, three of them however I visit her every 3 days to see if she's selling and sometimes solely for the purpose of getting an X-01 piece I will wait 3 days at the garage for about 4 hours. I've done the maths and about every 1532 store resets she might have a piece. I know the armour's rare but it shouldn't take that many visits for a piece so I purpose that the chances of an X-01 Piece being sold are raised as well as the cost of the pieces as the blowback for this increased chance. Because people on the PC can just spawn in the armour, Bethesda should allow console users or people who don't want to cheat a way to get those pieces. But I guess when mods become available (for consoles) there'll probabably be mods that allow you to obtain them. And before any more people comment on place I can obtain Power Armour. I HAVE COLLECTED ALL THE SPAWN PIECES. I am taking about a vendor who sells power armour and that it is a bit of a piss take to how long it takes for her to sell a piece.

After you reach level 30 go to places where power armor can be find. Fort Strong, under a bridge near Jamica Plains, the building guard by rbots at the top level, a hidden bunker in the glowing sea, ect.

Yeah, it's funny because in my game the suits i have found, except for one complete outfit, are missing the right leg.

Being on pc i visited the special room where all the stuff in the game is on display and lo and behold the incomplete one there is also missing the right leg.

Which leads me to suspect that my ingame searches for right legs may be fruitless.

So I made do with other right legs and snazzy paint jobs to spruce them up.

Rowdy rarely has it in stock. I think it's partially based on your Luck. Higher Luck is likely to mean greater chances of finding X-01 there.

That isn't always X-01. It's level based and randomized, just like nearly every other power armor spawn point in the game. The only thing guaranteed about that location is that it will be a full suit of some type of power armor.

First I've stated mutiple times in this topic that I have collected EVERY piece that can spawn, I am talking about Rowdy's X-01 selling chances. Second no the armours don't respawn tough love.

I never understood the great love for X-01. Only T-60 has legendary items (4 actually), has the best paint jobs, low repair cost (well component use) and guess what, it flies too :-)

T-60 is by far the best PA if you look at upkeep and accessories.
