Did anybody else notice what the warrior with the Elven Armor is doing with his left hand? I hope this rude warrior will be a highly aggressive NPC in the game!

All the races are completely nvde in Daggerfall, as well as a handful of nvde enemies. A middle finger is nothing, but it still doesn't fit the universe.

:D I remember walking into this place with the nvde women sitting on the floor. I was like "WTF? Is this the brothel?!"

Are people seriously making an issue of this?

I guess its like that time Janet jackson had a wardrobe malfunction and half the world didnt care, but half the other world was in an uproar for a month..

Ehm.. in a world where real bad things happen on a day to day basis, where cruelty is a matter of course, ehm,
shouldnt we start by doing important stuff like saving the whales or feeding people and then in the evening, if we have some time left, we can then talk about fingers?
I mean, if there is nothing left to say about Ross and Rachel, of course.
..

It just seems like such a.. luxury issue to me.

Well, I'm not complaining about the finger, I just find it very amusing to see a bearded warrior with noble armor acting like an angry teen. It's also nice to see that the concept artists at Bethesda are having fun at work.

This is too true. I don't know what's more humorous, the actual image itself -a concept artist having fun- or how much people seem to be offended by it. :lmao:

Stop getting all worked up about this, have you ever looked through a concept artists sketch book? 70% of the stuff in there is them messing around, very little actually makes it to the "drawing board." Concept artists are notorious for stuff like this and this is a pretty tame example.

I guess you guys have never seen the cartoons some of the Disney artists did on their downtime? Sometimes artists just need a little fun, or vent frustration. Heck there might be a back story to it. like the fact that he might have had to redo the gloves so many times he finnaly settled on this design, with a flourish
