get xpadder, there you can create a profile for each game. when you play the game your gamepad input is taken as keyboard and mouse input, that way you can modify the controls as you wish. crysis' default gamepad support means ONE control scheme - which is horrible.
when you have xpadder configured (which isnt that intuitive but kinda fun once you figure it out) you just start the game like you would if you wanted to play it with keyboard and mouse.
i wish i had a decent gamepad not the crappy one. it hasnt got enough buttons and the anolog sticks arent too precise.
