But im not sure about the third person animations. When i was watching one of the game play videos, i felt like they looked a little too common. Like the animations wernt dynamic enough.
I must say, I do agree with you there. One big thing Call of Duty Modern Warfare introduced, were the really great animations, where the avatar doesn't simply run straight forward because the player does, but moves left and right a little (at least while holding larger weapons than Pistols or Machine Pistols).
Those animations were a big step up.
I agree with the Op. The guns look [censored] swaying around in my face. They sway way more slowly and realisticly in bfbc2.
Bad Company 2 doesn't display realistic gun movement at all.
If you've ever tried to carry a gun that stable while moving, or especially while sprinting, you'd notice it moves left and right all the time. The thing is, in real life you recognise the gun from feeling it's weight in your hands, while you're actually focusing on the ground and your surroundings.
