Trying to play RLH on XBOX but running into 2 big issues:

1) Cannot access XBOX LIVE to download DLC. The game says my network connection is down and offers to go to the console network test. Network test says everything is OK, I can play all other games online via LIVE and download DLC so I know it is good.

2) The game seems to put excessive strain on the drive in reading the disc. The disc is scratch free (bought it new) but the system struggles to read the disc or is the game just designed this way?

Anyone have any ideas?

Environment details:
NTSC-J XBOX console (the clear black one with the Bill Gates keychain)
NTSC-J RUN LIKE HELL (Asian version, Capcom who owns the Japanese rights never released it on XBOX in Japan) become history
