I have the same problem. I've bought fallout 4 for my ps4 on a disk, which should include russian subtitles(eu version), but in the game I haven't any way to change language to russian, it's only english.

Strange. I pre-downloaded my version from PS Store and had no problems. The russian text was by default...try to re-install the game

According to Bethesda In most European territories, Fallout 4 supports English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish voice and text.

Note: On consoles, you may need to adjust the system level language settings to gain access to additional languages.

But in my case there is only english, both voice and text. And no option under the settings to choose between different language.

Tried to change console language, reinstall the game, but with no result.

Installed game size is 41GB, like it containes language packages. But I can not reach them under the game menu.

You should try to switch your PS4 system language to Russian before starting the game.

so you say that is impossible to bathesda to add the spanish subtitles in the PSN US digital version? or maybe better, add ALL the subtitules availables by patch in all version so you can change it from the in-game options, dont you think this would help to a lot of ppl that dont understand english??

I really cant understand why was to hard to put the subtitles language option ingame with all the availables language.

I bought the game with the reason of being able to play in Spanish or at least with subtitles in Spanish, and I asked for a refund to sony and told me to contact you because they only sell products is problem with the game developers, I need to solve the problem or give me my back the money

Like all of you, also I have the same problem. I have also PSN US Account (I live in mexico) and the game is in English.

This is ridiculous, as simple as putting an option to select the subtitles in Spanish.

I have many games and all of them can be selected language or subtitle option.

I hope our friends Bathesda can help us solve this problem with an update.

If there is no solution to this, it will be a big disappointment for too many people.

We, as your customers, really appreciate your product and your effort to maximise our positive experience of it. But a lot of us have recently faced a problem that prevents us from taking the most out of the game.

Problem – Lack of option to choose the preferable language.

Case 1.

Many of us have bought the disc-version of the game, being abroad.

In my case, I have had a Russian PSN account for years. I bought the game in Spain, as I live here now. As a result, it turned out to be totally in English for me. And I don't have an option to choose Russian Language for subtitles and menu text. It really confuses, especially in the workshop situations because of the lexicon variety.

Case 2.

Another situation occurred when people, who had a PSN account country different from their real country, bought a game on-line, and they again faced the same problem of language selection absence.

Proposed solution.

Bethesda Team, you are the only decision-makers here. And we can only propose the solution for our issue. We assume that you could release an update that will give us an option to choose the preferable language of the game.

We are aware that in case with some certain languages (e.g. Russian) it is impossible to switch to them completely (sound, menu & subtitles). But we would be pleased if there is an option to select at least the language of menu and subtitles.

I live in Israel, I received the English version of the game without the right to replace language.My native language is Russian, could be enough for us to decide on what language we play! Give us the right choice! The situation is repeated as The Witcher 3. Give the language pack ourselves choose which suits us

Can the bad quality voice audio of spanish and italian versions be fixed by patch?

Those good guys just took min. 60$ from all of us, and they can't give us a solution!

All of us need at least text! Support of the normally translated native language text! It is not so incredibly hard to add all supported languages in the game!(text at least)

We are not the only one players who have this problems! I know many people who have US PSN accs in EU|Russia|Japan! They lived in there, or they moved to another country,or it was easyer to pay in $, or they want to collect all achivements on their first(and the only one) accaunt?!

What's the problem of placing the option to select the subtitles in the language that we want?

I still insist that this is ridiculous, Bethesda already have subtitles, just add the option.

No answers, no solution and we and many others with the same problem.

As customers, we have the right to a solution or at least a specific answer, none of this happens.

There is also no opportunity for people who don't speak English to use Support web page, or even to join our conversation!

I'm from Poland and I buy English box version, so I have the same problem what people from Russia. Fallout 4 it is AAA game, CD Project RED don't have any problem to add all languages available to download for Witcher Wild Hunt. CD Project RED is really small studio compare to Bethesda. Wtf? :/
