Hi guys, I'm still on vacation in Point Lookout. Been here over a month now and I'm trying to finish off every last bit. I'm actually looking forward to getting back to the Capital Wasteland, reuniting with Charon and Dogface and stocking up on ammo. But that's another story...

At the moment I'm trying to find Ruzka. I don't want to kill him, just take a photo. Its a touristy thing. I've found his lair with the giant red ball and a few skeletons, but theres no sign of the big bear. I've searched the entire surrounding area, even over top of the lair itself (its quite tricky as you 'cannot proceed in that direction' at times). I can hear Ruzka growling and have a red marker on my compass, so I know he's there. I've tried firing a few shots in the air, then sneaking, and sure enough, my status turns quickly to [DANGER]......but he never appears. :huh:

Where is he? :shrug:

It's actually outside the map very hard to find. It's near the crystal grotto only more north. Actually i'll get you a link i can't explain very good.

I've checked the Wiki and I've found the lair, that was no problem. I've stood inside it, even played with the big red ball for a while. Trouble is, Ruzka is nowhere to be seen. I'd assume he should be inside the lair, but he's not. The red compass marker appears only when I climb above the rocky lair outcrop. I can even hear him breathing, but he never shows.

I'm on PS3...could it be an unexpected feature? :shrug:

Maybe he walked out and got killed by hicks.
Maryland is a very dangerous place.

The wikipage about Ruzka notes that he sometimes "spawn in wrong places". He's probably inside the rocks or somewhere unable to see you. Poor old stoned bear.
