saadia won't follow me to stables

Post » Sun Jun 03, 2012 1:39 am

I'm currently on the quest "in my time of need", on the part where I lead saadia to the whiterun stables.

I talked to her in the bannered mare but she didn't follow me.

The first time after I talked to her, I had a follower, and I fast travelled to the stables.

I slept for 3 days to remove my follower, tried talking to her again, and walked to the stables from whiterun- she still didn't follow.

How do I complete this quest?

Please do not post Spoilers in General.

People come to General to learn about the game without learning about what happens in the game. If they want to know about what happens, that is what the Cheats, Hints and Spoilers section is for.

Do not use quest details or location specific details related to quests/puzzles/NPCs in your posts in this section. General is for discussing gameplay and mechanics and general topics about the the game including but not limited to races, items and their use, magic, enchanting, skills, character builds, criticism, praise, funny random things that happen, places from an esthetic standpoint and and other general topics.

Use the Spoilers Section if you have to post quest details or other spoilers or a thread about the same. I will move this now.

Fast traveling was your mistake, it can mess a LOT of stuff up, I just pushed her, sprinted and ran into her and she followed me after that, sometimes waiting in the place where you meet said person that needs to follow you works too, but fast traveling, when they arent following you, bad karma.

I had the same issue with her. She didn't exit the bannered mare when I did. I fixed it by going back to the bannered mare. She was standing at the door when I entered, and I waited a moment and she finally went through the door. If you did that already im not sure what to tell ya other then completing via console on pc.

you just have to take it really slowly and make sure she follows you.

Just get up close to her and she will move. Don't get out ahead of here. I had the same thing happen. She was still at the stairs to her room when I went back to the inn.

Follow her, don't expect her to follow you. That works for me.

I remember having to go back to get her. I think I ended up having to follow her.

Did you at least buy her dinner before trying to bring her to the stables?
