Sabertooth tigers : V

So I was watching a nat geo special on tigers and just remembered there are sabertooth tigers in skyrim. So I'm wondering what will the tigers be like. I for one think it would be great if they lurked around and what not. Then they attack you out of the shadows. Also what other tactics do you think animals creatures will use. Like if you piss off a mammoth what it would it do, etc. Discuss

I heard they added a nice feature from New Vegas (OMG NOOOO) that should have been in from the beginning.

Not all creatures are good or bad. Some simply won't bother you if you don't bother them. They mentioned a giant being one of these

I'm sure we'll find out, once some footage or more details are revealed.

Not to knock this thread in particular or anything, but I love how many threads there are on here related to people fantasizing about how they think the game will be, or how certain, unrevealed features will operate. I'm all for using my imagination to hype myself up before a release, but whether or not a sabertooth tiger will stalk me in the shadows and leap out at me in surprise really doesn't aid anyone in understanding Skyrim any more than wondering if the dragons will drool or not.

But, in all fairness, I would hope the animators would ensure all creatures in the game have their own characteristics unique to their species, etc.

Dude, saw a couple of specials on nat-geo about tigers too, awesome. Actually just finished watching something on mammoths as well except on the science channel. Anyway, Yeah, excited to see some prehistoric ice age creatures roaming the landscape and observing natural behavior. Very fitting. I wonder what other types of creatures we can expect. There were woolly rhinos too for example. Doubt that will be in, but I do wonder if Bethesda did any research to see what kind of creatures have existed in the past during the ice age or other similarly cold periods in Earth's history.
