Just replying to say how awesome of a mod this is / will be, along with Uvirith's Legacy and Rise of House Telvanni. I love the mushroom-heads, great stuff.

I think there is a bug with Fara's hole in the wall. When i go there the door just swings open and doesn't let you in. I was able to go in the construction set and fix it. This also should load after ROHT as before the doors werent showing up but they did once I changed the load order.

I rather suspect this to be the result of the "local ref bug". (The door works in RoHT's 1.3 WIP version, and I haven't touched it at all.) http://lovkullen.net/Emma/COM_conflicts.htm of it on Emma's site. Basically, all you need to do is repair your savegame with Wrye Mash.

Yep, this mod is dead. Completely and utterly dead. :sadvaultboy:


However, the Telvanni are adept at necromancy, and by using a spell devised by master Tragillar it had became undead :evil:


And now seriously - work progresses, in a slow, but steady pace.

What changed:
- fixed Fara's door
- added houses for vanilla NPCs (3 at the moment, I'm thinking of making one for the bosmer merchants, but I need to check a few things before)
- changed the textures for some things to make them fit in more.
- clutterizing as usual
- finished the layout for the Telvanni Monster Lab
- added two new ingredients (using http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=7047)
- added atmospheromancy - taught by a mage dwelling beneath the Monster Lab
- played a bit with Nifscope to create some new goods for Fedrara

Is the modified Closed city mod make it even more compatible with this or does it just change things for personal preference? And does this progress mean there is a newer version coming soon? :)

It's something in between - though it still needs some work.

A new version? Not until I finish all the interiors for the surface town, underground tunnels and the highest level of the Underroots. And I won't even try giving an ETA, since I can't tell how the work will progress.

It progressess, slowly, but steadily. My main problem ATM is having too much ideas and wanting too add too much. What is surprising (at least for me), the best time for me to work on this mod seems to be during a TV marathon (CSI:NY followed by two episodes of House M.D. and some movie).

I believe that one of the greatest challenges to modders is knowing when your doing too much and going overboard. There are a few modders about like this currently, although I won't point any fingers-or any coughs. :bigsmile:

Anyway, great to see this is still coming along.

Those screens look fantastic. Sadrith Mora will now be the true seat of magical power on Vvardenfell, like it should have always been....every eccentric wizard's paradise!

Are those ruins going to be accessible through the Underroots or something, sort of like how various caverns/tombs were accessible through the sewers of Mournhold?

That crystal ball looks sweet. Does it do anything? Not that it has to...it would be cool as just an extra. The Atmospheromancer's domain looks interesting too.

Not abandoned, but currently on hiatus. This doesn't mean there's no progress - one of my testers gave me some invaluable advice and reported many bugs (not to mention nagging me to fix the "unnatural" placement of crates in several cells). ATM he is redoing the arena - while I'll be sitting and getting all the praise modding the rest of the town.

Me too :D However, for the users of a certain Telvanni mod, they're going to disappear (after doing a quest in said mod)

:D Hey, I like my crates nice and slightly untidy! (And since I have threedimensional fingers I'll need more than a twodimensional gap between them.) I still have to proceed with that Arena, but at least RoHT's abolition variables are done. Well, two of them. I'll add a third to make things easier for other modders.
I'm not so sure, though, if the mounted heads really need to go after that quest. Their previous owners won't miss them anymore, will they? And they do add a lot of atmosphere to that tavern.

The mod is progressing, although rather slowly. Still, the plan is to have another beta this month (at least I hope so...)
