I dislike the Lucky 38 place because of the number of manipulations one has to do to get there (fast-travel doesn't get you to the door of the suite, and Victor's getting on my nerves). Novac is a bit too far at this stage, so I need a new, centrally located base of operations. The NCR Ranger safehouse seems convenient, but is it safe, storage wise? Do the lockers ever reset?

The lockers don't reset but, Gomez might pick up items that are not in a container.

In 3 games using the NCR Safe House and Novac Motel pretty much exclusively, I've never lost anything.

As for Gomez, she must not like the Intact Garden Gnome I always put next to the bar for luck or the Dinky souvenir I put on the bar for a decoration. They're still there.

Heh. Where does one find a garden gnome?

The only intact one I've ever found is in Tabitha's storage room on Black Mountain.

I've found another intact one, an "evil gnome" but I can't remember where.
