Sahrotaar...what the...?

Especially if you could get one of it's babies as a pet/follower (obviously it would be a baby so it's not quite so op but also not completely useless, like most dogs)
Dragon babies don't exist in TES, they have always existed full-grown. This is because they are aspects of Akatosh/minor Aedra.

Well they 'kind of' do they are just not actually related to 'true' dragons.

What was suggested was a literal Dragon baby, which doesn't exist. As you know, the Dragonlings were something else entirely. Weren't they some kind of winged lizard or something?

I found the legendary dragons cool looking but the 4 eye thing really killed it for me.

Yeah but they were thought to be dragons due to looking simialr enough, my point was a mod for 'dragon' baby followers wouldnt be eniterly bs.

True, as long as they were Dragonlings and not actual Dragons it wouldn't conflict with the lore (other than the fact that I believe they are only found in the western provinces, but that can be worked around).

Sorry, when I said baby dragon, I just meant a miniature version of a Revered Dragon. Essentially the exact same creature, but scaled down. I was avoiding using the word Dragonling, because I don't like the way those look.

Could always just explain it with a quest where you use magic to turn a revered dragon into a miniature version. For any number of reasons.
it could want to adventure with you, but it knows that it wouldn't be able to go anywhere without being attacked. I don't see anyone being very threatened by a tiny version (the size of say, a Death Hound), even though it could probably still tear them to shreds.

I tried using console to shrink down a Revered Dragon and modding it so that it took the pet slot, but I couldn't do it. It just continued flying around indefinitely, despite actually being my follower and being tiny. They get stuck in place if you use setscale on them.
