Simple quote, not so simple meaning.

I'm just curious to hear what you all think the ending meant. What was the meaning or purpose behind that quote, in your eyes?

I believe it has something to do with the choices we make in this world and the consequences that these said choices have. That's what changes Man.

Humanity will always follow one road, the road to war.
Individuals can change and achieve something other then war.

This is going to be the most pretentious thread on the forum. It sounded poetic because it was the end for some really old veterans working on a Fallout game and I give my props too them for the work they did.
