Saiko's Faces

My main interest in active modding goes to texturing faces.
I hope to add some textures and new face models to the game, dont have to much time but when Im in the mood and have time I will create something

Some of my faces:

I wanted to keep the original face of Jiub, just with a little better quality.

Yeah, she looks a bit lazy-eyed. Otherwise, I like it! More faces are always welcome.

Saiko - wow  That face has got some definite character. I love it!

This is great - we're really being spoiled faces-wise recently. Looking forwards to see what you make!

Where is the clothing from?

I'm not sure about the trousers, but the shirt looks like one of the Blacksmith shirts from Westly's Clothiers of Tamriel.

Edit: ninja'd! :ninja:

The trousers are from fine clothiers as well also very nice job there, Saiko.

Looking forward to watching this develop! That first face looks great, I love the more rugged look she has. Quite unique, and still really good quality texturing work. Can't wait to see what else you have!

This all the way and trough the roof. Not to take me wrong, I love the work that people such as Illy and Meldiocre are doing, but we honestly have too much pretty faces. We need some every-day normal looking people too! :D

Seriously can't wait to see more of this!

Awesome o.o

What head mesh is that?

Nice shading also especially around the chin. If it's the mesh I think it is, that mesh tends to look SUPER chinny. If you ever want to compare notes (i.e. give me advice on texturing) I'm all ears. :) Hope to see more from you, looks great so far.

Ah, but that is the joy of having so many truly amazing face artists spoiling us all. There is always room for both, and we get to enjoy them all.

I think I took that head mesh from Illys Fresh Faces II, and then: Breton Female 2.
Haha I dont think I can give you advice on texturing, I have seen the great textures you make  I guess the way I start is by looking for a natural non celebrity lookin picture, which are hard to find. I dont want to much coloured make-up in my texture, cause I think the Morrowind peeps didnt use these
But the best way to create more unique faces is to edit every head mesh individually in blender. I know how to shape a face model in blender but somehow I didnt succeed in exporting it back to Nifskope in a right way :/ The mouth/eye animations are always lost after editing.

Yeah, I've been having that problem for a while. There's a tutorial on how to add animations to a head mesh but I'm not good at 3d modeling. I can edit the head mesh but like you, I lose the animations because I dunno how to put them back in really. :/ svcks. But yeah, normal looking people are cool. I should do more of those but I always get distracted by shiny makeup. :x

I think there should be a 3ds max or blender setting you can select to export a head with animations.. I have no clue what it is though.

Hm we have to find out how to do that, that way we could create more really amazing unique faces!

Hiya!

So I'm altering a head mesh for Morrowind (from the Better Bodies pack) because the chin is too long. I can easily make it shorter without affecting any other part of the face, but when I export, I lose the NiGeomMorpherController block in NifSkope, making the character unable to blink or speak. I've tried a billion settings, checked strips, unchecked strips, unchecked skin modifier, checked "nif with animations," unchecked it..
I'm guessing the problem is my export settings are not correct. Does anyone know how to alter a head mesh while keeping the morphs so they can blink and stuff? Or do I have to create my own from scratch? I'm a noob to max, so any help is much appreciated.
Also, please don't send me to a tutorial. I have all the tutorials. If I need to make my own morphs I will do so, but I'm hoping it will be simpler to solve this problem than that. Ty!

Ha, I see you already asked for help  Cause this is exactly the problem I meant. I also tried different export / import options. its really frustrating.
There should be someone who knows how to do it !?

Right, like I said, there's a tutorial. But you have to be able to 3d model in order to complete the tutorial. What I was asking was if there was some setting or just option you can check in order to KEEP the animations that are already there, rather than have to create your own from scratch like in the tutorial. :/

no, i believe once you change the face, you have to remorph it. morphs are based of the model. any changes will throw it.

Awesine face. Sadly, we've reached time when faces, weapons, trees and so on overwhelmed the BB, we need a new body. That pretty face looks ridiculous with those broken fingers.

That is, what I meant to say is- sweet face, keep up the great work. :)

Nicely done. I'm thinking that will make a good alternative head to the companion Constance.
