same on all platforms?!

so i took my xbox round a friends so we could both play skyrim and chat at the same time, as he plays on some new gaming rig of several 1000 pounds we struggled to find any difference in the game looks, the fire looks alil different but we were un sure, we couldnt find any higher res textures?! is there somthing wrong with my friends copy or does it look identical on all stystems?!

Here's an article showing the difference in PC settings. Tbh, it looks great on all of them to me, and there's very little difference to my eyes. That's just PC settings though, and it's not identical. Just not enough of a difference for it to matter to most people I think.

One glaring and obvious difference:

Consoles are limited to 1080p resolution MAX.

Running it on a PC, even a 5 year old laptop can do better than that.


Aside from that, draw distance comes to mind. "Popup" is highly annoying to me. I'm thankful I don't have to deal with that.
