Samhain mods?

Post » Fri Mar 11, 2011 1:15 pm

Hey there all, recently started playing oblivion again :foodndrink: and I am loving it. Due to the time of year I have been looking for a few spooky mods and I was wondering if any of you had any great ones that you could show me. I'd really like to find some that are actually creepy (I know hard to find). I used to have a mod that placed a random "Wraith" into undead tombs that would fly by your screen and shriek loudly at random times. Loved it but can't seem to find it anywhere. Well anyways I'll quit rambling, post any of your favorite scary mods. Thanks.

The Oubliette was TESA's 2009 Halloween mod, so keep an eye out for this year's addition to the series as well http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1117724-another-halloween-mod-from-tesa/page__p__16422661&#entry16422661 it will release on Oct 31st :foodndrink:

Sounds like something I remember in MMM. These monsters caused me no end of grief because they hurt my ears and paralyzed me for way to long.
Ghostly Apparitions. I finally got a small patch for MMM that removed them. They were right up there with the guard beholdens in Oblivion realms. Only not as painful to hear, but still caused more grief because those guys only hurt my ears, not my character.

I liked them cause they kept me on my toes and at times playing with the music off and darkness mods on in the middle of the night they would actually scare the heck out of me  .

Eh, maybe you should check out the game Amnesia - The dark decent.
I'm gonna buy it from there web site, cheaper that way.
For Oblivion - I think Priests Gates to Aesgaard is pretty well done - apparently the second part is much better but I never played that. Yes, it deviates from TES lore, but they are scary in some parts :D

Cheers!
