Rundown
Tech wise, its sound, besides for vignetting on the camera ALL the time. It is optimized, doesn't crash, bug free and very easy to use if you're even slightly comfortable with Sandbox 2.
My team and I will most likely *not* be able to make Horror/Mystery mods with this, unlike Sandbox 2. Reason for it is below, luckily it supports porting. We might make them in Sandbox 2 then polish and release for Sandbox 3.
On to the problems,
The texture editor is currently locked and very complicated.
There are 1% of the total props, assets, and decals that Crysis 1 had. About all you CAN make are city maps with this thing.
While it does have Time of Day, rumor said it didn't, its very restrictive and looks ugly as hell
Water refracting is wrong, there's something not rendering right about it, I suspect a hotfix will be needed.
There isn't actually an SDK, its just Sandbox 3.
Assets appear to be locked still
Crysis 1 porting does not work, I followed the instructions.
