The editor installed just fine, the thing is when ever i go to launch the editor i get the following error:

"The ordinal 6484 could not be located in the dynamic link library mfc90.dll."

Has any one had this error? or know i fix for this?

I am having the same problem and have tried literally everything, from re isntalling vs 2007 redistributable, to the hole of crysis 2, to redownloading this file into my winsxs folder, yet no success, i even created a thread about this myself, and in the space of 2 hours have 30 views, yet nobody replying! If i find a fix i will tell ya, if you find one could you message me? a little alliance for the sake of map creation and devlopment -.-, crytek fix it please.

well you have no replies because nobody knows ... Google mfc90.dll and try to download that dll maybe yours are broken...

I already have tried fixing mfc90.dll, as earlier said, i reinstalled the VS2008 redistributable, so it cant be that problem, is their anyway someone who has their copy of the game working could go into the crysis 2 directory, open bin64, open the mfc90 folder then upload theirs to the net and post a link so i can download it? as i really want to use this editor, i have been waiting since sandbox 2 for a new editor

Hi, I am Italian, and I've the same problem!!!! I use a laptop with high performance, I have installed Visual Studio 2005, 2008 and 2010... but nothing... the Editor doesn't run... I have send an e-mail to the CryEngine staff of Crytek to solve the problem today... I am waiting...
With the CryEngine 2 I didn't have any problem... I installed it and then I used it...
If you have any suggestion...
