Sandwiches

My step son likes cold mac an cheese with 1000 island dressing.
My only weird one was a butter sandwich with a little sugar on it.
What other creations are out there?

I once made a sandwich out of white-cheddar mac-n-cheese on two pieces of bread with ketchup. Beyond that...in the military anything that came in a patty form(veal, pork chops, etc) I would stick on bread and slather mayo and ketchup on. Hell I did so with fried shrimp and a few other things that weren't patty form as well.

This topic is 2deep5me. I kid, I kid.

My favorite kind of Sandwich is putting a nice big piece of Lasagna between rye bread.

I make a sandwich at work that consists of BBQ pulled pork, macaroni, and pepper on an Asiago Jalapeno bagel. It's delicious.

As a kid I tried a few weird ones, I was a weird kid.

Honey and Salami comes to mind, it was... surprisingly alright.

Slami, mayo and brown cheese was another one, kinda weird, not the worst thing I've ever had.

I can't say that I reccomend these combinations, I haven't had them in years (like 9 years at least if not more).

Does Svolv?rpostei count as weird? I want to say no, but I know some foreigners find it weird.

Peanut butter, mayonnaise and sliced banana's. If your feeling really adventurous split an Oreo and put a small square of yellow american cheese in it and put it back together, HEAVEN I SWEAR!

I'm your basic ham, cheese and lettuce guy. I love a bunch of potato chips with it.

Most of these "creations" are making me feel sick at the simple thought of them. :yuck:

My sandwiches never have butter and always have something simple and sensible inside.

Hotlinks, carved in half. Seered for thirty seconds both sides.
Then on youur french bread;Pepperjack, Swiss, Bacon, Lettuce, Buffalo and Ranch Sauces, then you throw tomatoes on the top just above the sauces then you put those Hotlinks on dip in beef broth . Bam you got a sandwich I eat once a month.

Would a seared ahi sandwich with a real wasabi base sauce, salad greens, sliced cucumbers, a bit of mayo and sliced red onions be weird on French bread?

Completely delicious btw. If it is weird? I like weird.

My dad swears by peanut butter and mayo. I've never understood it, but I've heard it quite a bit, so I can't really judge. Another one of his favorites is peanut butter and tomato.

I personally don't have any really crazy sandwich creations.

The best sandwich is one that you managed to cobble together when it seems like the fridge and every cupboard is empty.

BBQ pulled pork w/ peppers is a god tier sandwich. I could live off of that exclusively. I'm also one of those people that get an italian sub and substitute plain potato chips for lettuce. Disgusting to be sure but it's so tasty.
