Hey i was just wandering if i bought the GOTY edition it would work our cheaper for me than to buy all the dlc separatly, would my save data on the orginal work on the goty edition?, this is for Xbox 360 btw, Cheers

Yes. There is literally nothing different between the two. The GOTY is just everything packaged together.

I am purchasing the GOTY tomorrow. Will I still be able to get all of the endings I would by just having the regular version of Fallout 3 installed(I have the vanilla CE version installed)? The reason I am asking is that this is the first time I've played it(not sure why I waited so long to play it) and want to see what the endings look like.

Also, since I am patched to 1.7 already, will installing the DLC disc cause any abnormalities? I have read some posts here that say not to patch the GOTY since it is already 1.7 so I'm not sure if my game already being patched to 1.7 will cause me to have problems.
