Save file shannanigins

I've been having problems since day one and can't find any joy out of the game at all because of the various progression crippling bugs I've been trouble shooting and dealing with. It's nothing game play related usually, it's the file itself. Namely my save files repeadetly have been overwritten with a character I Bethesda tested. I usually have to figure things out for a bit on an initial character in a Bethesda game, like in Skyrim, Oblivion, Fallout 3. I play for a chunk of time, figure out how to allocate points, learn where to get a good starting weapons ect. After a few hours of my trying to fit this game in to my already busy work schedule and home life I've had to restart from scratch THREE TIMES. Each time taking hours of my life, each time I had to create a stupid face/character/s.p.e.c.i.a.l. build, leave the vault and make it to my first encounter with the minuet men. I save, turn off the game because I am a 30 year old [censored] bag that has to do things at home, or go to work. I come back to the game to find my original "Beta test" character files are the only files there, but I deleted them in game. WTF! My Fiancée hardly ever sees me upset or angry and I tell her the situation. She understands to a degree, I think? (she doesn't play videogames). We are struggling financially (temporarily, just helping out with her schooling) I spend 120 dollars on getting this game only to find my stupid phone doesn't fit the pip-boy mold, the intro video sound is gone, I keep having to start over, and I work 50+ hours a week and am pissed I didn't get the game for Xbox One. These technical hiccups and my rig doing windows 10 ridiculousness is just too much for me. As a stoic, pragmatic, guy who doesn't let chaos and other horrible things affect me, this game has found my weak point and is just stabbing me over and over again. I am just angry I didn't get the game for Xbox One, I hate the Xbox app not overlaying on the game so I can share my experience with my friends, my pip-boy app not syncing, my time repeatedly being stolen, I'm giving up. If I can't recover my new saves or find a solution I'm going to uninstall the game and just wait until January/February when I can afford an Xbox One version...or not I don't know. Thanks for the memories you guys gave me for Skyrim, but I think I'm done. I'm emotionally drained, I don't like that I let this game and it's technical issues get to me. OR that I gave you 120 dollars for a 60 dollar game. I called in to work last night just to play guys. It takes a month of work to build 8 hours of sick leave at my current job. This game has taken a month of work from me...

I sound entitled and whiney, and I don't like it. If you contact me for technical questions on the save file problems and try to fix why new character saves can't be found I'll answer all I can to the best of my ability. But I think I'm done with the game I could spend my time on other games that will actually progress me forward.

Side note, game doesn't boot some/most times.

Without knowing what is going on, here is what I would do:

Under the load menu, press T if you haven't. This will display all saved characters.

If this does not work I would head to: C: -> Users -> "Your name" -> Documents -> My Games -> Fallout 4 where you will find a folder called "Saves". Delete all data and try again.

I did both those things earlier, this morning I tried again after toggling the Cloud save sync on steam. It populated those old saves again, then in a fit of rage I deleted the game from my Steam library.

Update: I deleted the game on PC and after making some calls discovered that I had actually paid off a copy at Gamestop. They switched out the PS4 copy I had reserved for an XB1 version and on that version I've been worry free. I'm going to see if stream can refund me and take the stream version off my library.
