Save Game Glitch

Post » Mon Jan 10, 2011 12:10 pm

I just started playing FallOut 3 a week or two ago, but I have come across this problem twice. I will leave the game, or it will have a problem and close. When I reload the game, I'm back to level one, and I have nothing. And when I say nothing, I mean I'm running around in my undergarments. I have to restart the game when this happens, or I'll just end up dead. Does anyone know how this happens? Or how ro resurrect my save games? Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Please help.

I'm not running any mods. All I have is the DLCs. I have the Game of the Year edition. Does that have an effect?

No not that I know of, try a search of the forum here and then goto Nexus and try a search there as well. That would be a good place to start looking.

Are you on PC?

No other ideas at the moment but I would suggest saving often and keeping most of your saves....I do know that the game can have some problems with anything over 1000 but I try to keep it below 100-200 saves.

oh btw you should give using mods a try if you haven't yet I highly recommend them
