Save Glitch

Post » Wed Jan 05, 2011 6:20 am

Well, I made a mod for oblivion, and it took a while. Now that I want to save it, it says "You must close all open Dialog Boxes before saving." even though there are none open, is there a way I can keep my work, and be able to save? If anyone has the answer please don't hesitate, I really need this!

Are you absolutely sure there are no windows hidden behind Render Window or the other windows? That happens to me quite often...

  • Go to "My Documents\My Games\Oblivion\"
  • Open "ConstructionSet.ini"
  • Set "bAllowUnsafeSave=0" to "bAllowUnsafeSave=1"
  • Save
  • If the CS is open, you have to restart it.

The ini-change disables the warning and saves even if there's a dialog-box open. But you have to know that it will only save changes you made. If you are changing something(a quest-stage, script,...), the opened thing will not be saved.
