Save Importing for Elder Scrolls VI?

Yeah I noticed none of the Elder Scrolls game so far let you import saves to transfer choices.

It's true that most quests before only had one way to go or weren't important enough to be acknowledged decades or hundreds of years later. But in Skyrim, the decision between siding with the Imperials or Stormcloaks, or not getting involved at all, seems like it would have a major impact on the future of the land, if not all of Tamriel itself.

Stormcloak winning could inspire the other provinces to rise up and declare their independence from the Empire.

Empire winning could further strengthen the Thalmor's hold on Tamriel and lead the races 'lesser' than the elves to slavery and persecution.

And not doing anything could make the result go either way.

They pride themselves on each game being separate from the last and not a sequel. So I wouldn't bet on it.

Even so, when they put in massive decisions that could arguably affect the whole continent forever, it'd be kind of annoying to see your choices retconned by 'canon'.

Remembering the past doesn't make a sequel. It shows respect for every player's respective choices.

I like cannon. But it can be frustrating to have your choices made useless by some stupid [censored] deus ex mechina like that [censored] ass pice of [censored] warp in the [censored] west!

Umm... Ya. Frustrating.

Also after being shown a theory about something called The Nu-Mantia Intercept, I've taken to the thought that the events of every game are leading up to something very big.

My friend who showed that to me suspects that it may have something to do with Lorkhan.

I'm also suspecting that once all of the towers' stones are destroyed, if Mankor Cameron's claims that Lorkhan is a Daedra and Nirn is really just his plane of Oblivion, it might cause whatever dimensional veil separating the planes to dissolve.

That would not be good, at all. However the Daedra thing is still only a theory so we may just have a magical cataclysm of sorts.

They have now, if you read up on the New Dragonborn. All the major events since TES III have basically being leading up to Armageddon on Nirn.

And likely the final game of the series will have the player putting a stop to it and smiting whatever poor villain is behind it all.

One choice is always chosen as the canon choice. For Skyrim, I think it will most likely be the Stormcloak choice.
