Is there a save limit in the game

Every time i save the save file number increases by 1, and i notice it reads 001 for example. So what happens when you get to 999 and try to save?

I don't think the number matters. It is how many you have on the list. If you save over 1,000, let us know what it does. Probably starts back at 1.

I had a thousand saves in Oblivion. It did nothing, just continued on as normal.

I'm over 1000. It just continues.
