When I got to Gunner's Plaza to get some communicator for an optional part of the main quest, I died from the mini nuke and it froze. So i had to shut the application down and restart the game. I can do anything and everything but save, load, or quicksave. Everytime I try to do one of those, my game freezes... So i cannot advance in the game, because I just lose my progress... I have tried fast traveling other places and walking other places and it doesn't make a difference. I have also reinstalled the game, but that did not help either. Please help! I really don't wanna have to restart my game :/

Any other saves to load?

I tried other saves before but it didn't help. Just tried again this morning as a last resort and it looks like that might have worked! I am wondering if it had something to do with that area I was in. Gonna investigate more.

If you save make hard saves, and not overwrite your previous ones!

This can bring nasty surprises...

I have over 100 manual save files so far.

Not a single one is corrupt so far!

Of course, i backup them or delete the very older ones.
