What does this mean?

I've looked through my Pipboy headings and there's none to do with Save Game.

it autosaves after you're in the pipboy for x amount of time

Basically if you set it for the lowest amount.. (I think it's five minutes.) Almost every time you look at your pipboy the game is going to autosave. I have no idea if it still saves if you have the autosave feature turned off. I wouldn't think so but who knows. I have mine set at every 30 minutes but I don't rely on them in anyway. They've saved my ass a few times I guess.
