save state location changes

Post » Tue May 17, 2011 12:16 pm

okay, i went through every nook and cranny of this dungeon. thing is, i had to warp to get to the quest objective and now i can't find anything to get back.

i tried enabling cheatmode but for some reason none of the cheats are working (i asked for help with this in another thread, so i've milked that possibility dry).

just this one time, i need a way out. does anyone have advice on how to alter the save state so i'm, i don't know, anywhere but in this forsaken dungeon?

Save your game, reload the save. Now DO NOTHING except what I tell you to. Hit Alt-F11 and you will be teleported to the entrance.

http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?showtopic=1026271. I'm afraid it's time for save state hacking. I just need some suggestions on how.

I think it'd be worth your time to figure out what is going wrong with cheatmode because it works fine for everybody else. You and that one other person in the other thread are the only people I've seen have problems with it.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure there is a utility called Teleport (or similar) that will change your location. Try uesp.net in the DF files section.

The only cheat I have a problem is the one that unlocks all map locations. It brings up the thing that asks for me to assign keys and nothing ends up happening.
