I saved Brother Verulus...did you?

Post » Wed Jun 06, 2012 9:14 pm

I ate his liver with some fava beans and a nice chianti - both my characters. Perhaps my next character will save him, we will see.

Rude bastard!

I turned into a werewolf and ate that guy. Seemed like a just solution.

You ate a cannibal? Hope you chugged a Cure Disease potion after. Can't help but imagine he probably enjoyed it like Armin Meiwes' 'victim' Bernde Brandes. Hmm, wish I hadn't thought of this. :P You people cannibalizing poor NPCs and putting your cannibalism on teh internets for me to read are eevil!

I'm disappointed in you.
You should have cut open his skull and eaten his brain while he was still alive.

Ate his flesh on my Orc berserker, then again on my Khajiit assassin. I plan on rolling High Elf mage next who I'm fixing to actually be a nice gal, so I'll save him then. Until then, omnomnomnom.

I messed up this quest by accidentally using Fireball right next to him. The AOE caufht Eola, and this triggered a huge battle for my own survival.

It's the only "finished" quest in my log that was failed.

Fortunately, werewolves are immune to Mad Cow and vJCD. I'm sure it made for some of the rankest "blame the dog" farts in the history of The Companions, though.

Just blame Farkas. Everyone else does.

Add Delayed Burial to that list heh.

I don't. I blame everything on the Thalmor no matter what it is.

I always save him and kill all the canibals.I just blow all the meat on the table in their faces with unrelenting force,it tends to make them angry.
P.S:if you snack on Verulus guards will comment on your bad breath.Just imagine how bad it really is LOL

Your character prolly brushes their teeth, eat, etc while you aren't on Skyrim.

I eat him. I never saved him.

The rings useful in harder fights.

Nom nom nom, the ring was more important than he was.

Worth more, and it has more of a personality.

I feasted on his flesh- it was soft like his mind. Where was his god, his faith, his will to resist?
It was a baptism in blood that released a force of nature.
Now http://img194.imageshack.us/img194/5073/meneq.jpg cut a swath of carnage across Skyrim and no one and nothing can stand against us.

There are two dozen Amulets of Stendarr at my house in Markath.
Nice city.

I saved him... and tried to get way without everyone else getting killed, but alas, they wind up dead.... even if I don't kill them. I'm bummed because now i can't get Vigilance the dog any more... I like dogs. and yeah - Markarth is a cesspool.

I ate him. Eola kinda put me in a trance just like him, and I didn't really know what to do in that situation. After I regained my senses, Eola and I took a little walk... to Boethiah's Pillar of Sacrifice. One ill turn deserves another as they say.

I usually don't save Verulus but if I did, I wouldn't even begin the quest. I would just kill the original quest giver in the tomb.

I saved him. In general I prefer not to help the Daedra with any of my characters.

Spared him on both.

1st Character: killed Eola as soon as I figured out what she was up to - I think it was right outside Reachcliff Cave.
2nd Character: killed Eola as soon as I saw her.

Killing Eola as soon as you see her is a bad idea. My character played along with her so she could root out all of the cannibals. She made the same mistake the Dark Brotherhood did, think I was an ally.

I'll kill Eola and all the cannibals but I will never kill the Dark Brotherhood. I like the DBH way too much.

I thought about doing that, but I thought it would be good for my character to gather them all together and kill them all (It is also nice to get the reward from Verulus as well ^^ )

I'm debating whether or not I should save him. What kind of reward does Verulus give anyways?

The reward is a hearty pat on the back (which you will have to administer to yourself).
