So i got just past Nipton goin up the hill to the small camp, saved my game and shut the computer down for an hr. Came back when to load my game and it crashes every time it loads. I tryed to load auto save but its some how 6hrs back. I read up on auto save issue but that didnt bring me back much closer at all. My saved games there it just wont load. I dont wana Start my game back 6hrs and have to retrace my steps. Is there anyway to get this file loadable again? I made a new game played for 20mins and its loads just fine.

Yea, same thing happened to me i was in the town north-west of Nipton, and was 8 hours into it, whenever i tried loading it crashes, same with the auto and quick saves. i couldn't find a fix, only thing i could do was start a new game. sorry to hear about that. hopefully someone might pop-up with a fix.

Could it be something to do with that area north of Nipton? Ied rather not get far into a new game hit this area and same thing happens over again.

i have the same problem did you guys do the "come fly with me quest" cause theres been post about this happening shortly after doing this quest both for the pc and x box i've lost 3 games now its to the point i dont wanna play anymore....

I just finished the "come fly with me quest" and now it wont load my saved games and auto-load is two levels back

ya its a horrible game kill bug that should of been the first thing they fixed...

Im done playing the game until they fix this because im not rerunning through again only to get stuck again. this svcks because up till now i liked the game

They said they released an update automatically but i dont think i ever got it

i'm wondering if you can just kill the ghouls and progress the main quest that way since he just says he wants them to leave then again you miss out on all the exp from the quest they give you so its really not worth it haha

I'm having this issue after the interrogation quest at the NCR base in south vegas. I can load saves before the quest, but after it the game crashes to desktop on load. I didn't have any issues with the rocket quests.
I hope they fix this soon...

Same problem!!! I completed the quest "come fly with me" and all my save games are corrupt from then on *sigh* Its a repeatable bug..

I'm having this issue too and it has nothing to do with Come Fly with Me. I've completed that quest without any issue hours and hours ago.

I just finished clearing Vault 3 of all the Fiends and was about to go free the prisoners. I went for a swim where it was flooded and I drowned, when I tried to reload, the game crashed. I did a quick save before going for the swim and that file seem to be corrupted somehow and refuses to load. The auto save seem (ie. last time I zoned into the vault) to be corrupted too as the game crash when I tried to load that saved game as well.

I have a manual save about 2-3 hours back but that seem to work ok. Guess I have to backtrack a bit or pray for a solution that may not come...
