I am up to saved game number #14. My issue is when I go back to load a saved game my list only shows saved games up to #6. And before you ask yes I used the scroll bar to. I have looked in the game files but cant find out where the saved games are stored. Also I have the current version 1.1.1.271

Vista/7: C:\Users\{UserName}\Documents\My Games\FalloutNV\Saves\*.fos

Mine (WinXP) are in My Documents in the My Games folder.

thanks thats right where they are still have the problem:( When I do a regular save in game it gives you a number I am up to 14 in the saved game floder it only goes as high as 6.

If you're using anything with any form of UAC, the UAC will screw with saves. Play the game in admin mode, or move steam out of the "\program files\" or "\program files(x86)\" folder to it's own.
