I'm playing the GOTY edition on Steam. I formatted my C:\ and forgot to copy "My Games\Fallout 3\Saves". Ran Recuva after the format and recovered several uncorrupted .fos files. Reinstalled Fallout, copied the .fos files into my save folder. Those files all show up in the game as #0000, play time: null. When I try to load them, I get : "Savegame cannot be loaded because its outdated. Its version is -1 and the current version is 48."

Is there anyway to restore these files? I'm 56 hours into the game!
