I really enjoy(ed) this game, but ever since i first started playing it about a year ago, after a while when you have worked hard on building up your base, just built the strength and the other (cant remember name) training room the game upon next start just goes back to the ipad startscreen.

I have checked the X for coud save. Ive tried deleting my local save then gettin the cloud save back, but still upon start of my vault 777 i just get back to the ipad icon screen.

I think the problem starts after your base is big enough, and i press the Home button to exit the game.

I have an ipad air 16GB, 1GB free space, and all other apps runs perfect.

I dont want to spend an hour or dollar more for this game, if all work someday is just gone and i cant start the game....

Cmon fix this already - this bug has been here for ages - just google it and you get alot of people having this problem.

A year ago... sounds like a time glitch.

Check the size of your savegame - if it is 0kb then you have encountered the bug most commonly associated with the load screen crash. What has happened is the save got corrupted, either by your device running out of space, out of power during save, or any number of other ways a file can be corrupted during the write process. If this is the case no patch will ever be able to restore your vault, period. What is not there cannot be retrieved by any means. As for fixing this bug, that is what they did when they brought us the cloud save. Not bulletproof but a hell of a lot better than devicebound saves.

Hi thanks for reply Millimonger, how do you check the filesize, do you have to install some file manager or can you do it in iTunes?

Ive tried uninstalling the game, then when i got back in i checked cloud storage and it found my save, but when i still choose my vault 777 game crashes, so i guess teh cloud save is the one that is 0kB if any. i really would like to get a reply of the official staff on this. This has occured again and again on my device and im soon giving up to play this game.

Any already bugged saves are likely to never be fixed. Beth might fix the causes of the corruption but trying to salvage something that was damaged in a random way is quite honestly near impossible and not worth anyone's time to fix since it would be a case by case basis with an incredible difficulty.

Time to start a new save.

Welcome to the club. Same thing happened to me. Bethesda never replied to my inquiries. Money just gone. Time wasted, nothing to show for it. Bethesda is of no help. Just move on and forget this game.
