I've been working on my first mod for several months. I do save the esp file frequently but at some point soon I really want to do a clean install of my OS which means also doing a clean install of skyrim. Obviously I don't want my mod to be wiped out and I do think there is more to saving it then copying and saving the esp file. Also, I feel I'm at risk even wo a clean install of my OS because my HD could fail and then I'd loose everything except the saved esp file.

If there is a guide to this, I haven't found it. Forgive me if my question is na?ˉve.
