So I just need it confirmed that it's impossible for me to get saviors hide after completing the quest and got the ring instead?

There's an exploiterish way to get both:

"It is entirely possible to obtain both the Ring of Hircine as well as the Savior's Hide. In order to do so, first you must help Sinding eliminate the remaining hunters. After doing so, speak with Sinding to complete his quest objective, then kill him. When you remove his skin, immediately avoid contact with the spirit of the white stag and exit the cave, leading you to Hircine's spectral avatar, which will then reward you with the uncursed Ring of Hircine. Now re-enter the cave and speak with the other spectral stag to receive the Savior's Hide."

I believe it's an "either/or" scenario. Ring or Hide depending on whether your side with or against the werewolf.

I've got both. Side with Sinding and then talk to him after killing the last hunter; then kill Sinding. My main goal was to have him help me kill everyone so I can get to him myself; took the hide and Hircine's avatar gave me the Savour's Hide. Walked outside and Hircine's stag avatar told me I could keep the ring for turning his hunt upside down and amused him.

i've read it's possible to get both, although I dont know if it counts as a 1 or 2 in reaching the Oblivion Walker trophy
