Yep it's pretty much the most annoying and repetitive line to hear in the game. Especially since EVERY npc will say the line, no matter what their class/profession is. Everyone steers clear of mudcrabs, even Fighters Guild members.

Indeed. Did you hear that they're trying to build a city in North Sheogorad? I don't know how the economy will hold up, but it will be an interesting place to visit. Might go there when I'm done my Destruction training. Ald'ruhn is getting boring.

I've always fantasized about making a mod which bans mudcrab discussions throughout Cyrodiil. Any NPC that starts a mudcrab discussion triggers the guards to attack them. Of course, if the guard utters "I've fought mudcrabs more fierce than you!" it prompts a chain reaction.
