I was walking just North West of Bruma when I found two Imperial Legion Foresters shooting arrows at each other. The fight went on for 10-15 minutes, no word of lie, one of them had maybe 30-40 arrows sticking out of him. The only reason I can think of for this is one was shooting at a wolf or something and accidentally shot the other. Or do you guys think it is a bug? I have never seen two guards fighting before haha

No, it’s not a bug. Usually one Forester is shooting at a deer and hits the other Forester starting the fight that lasts until one is dead. My characters have seen them fighting many times over the years. Have a bunch of screenshots of some of the fights. One of my characters was even in a three way fight with them several years ago.

Yeah, not a bug. I've had many fun occurrences with this myself. Hasn't always been near Bruma either.

This is a common thing, at least in my games. A very easy source of cash for a new character if you so choose. Or just an amusing conflict for the player.

You are correct, I think, in saying that it's due to one accidentally shooting the other. One of them will have gotten between the other and a deer or wolf, cue friendly fire incident and the amusing situation occurs.

It tends to get ignored in my games, since I can never come up with a reason why two members of the Legion, even the same unit (most likely) would begin a fight to the death.

Why haven't I found this? I don't think I've ever found one Forester near Bruma, let alone two shooting at each other!

In the forests near Bruma, Around Applewatch and Dragonclaw Rock is where I have seen them the most IIRC.

I'll go there sometime, just to watch the madness.
