J.E Sawyer's Status on Twitter-Gun Runner HQ Boneyard.

Post » Sat Aug 06, 2011 4:16 am

So Sawyer updated his status on twitter to Gun Runners Hq the Boneyard for those who don't know what the Boneyard is it is the remains of Los Angeles in Fallout 1 the vault has a nice article explaining it http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Boneyard. Anyway this could just be for fun on his behalf or it could hint to a possible future Dlc set in this cool place of the Fallout world.

Btw i am new to the forums for give me if this was already posted thanks :D

Welcome to the forums! Here is your complementary turtle. :turtle:

Also, none of your links seem to work. The Boneyard one also leads to a page that's called "Boneyard." with that period.

I can't really see what his twitter avatar is supposed to be. Them old eyes, hum.

Anyhoo, I'd always thought that The Divide is the Fallout-name for the San Andreas fault line, which is pretty close to LA?
Could be fun if LR took us deep into Ca.

We've already visited California in its entirety, twice.

Indeed, 40 years ago in Fallout years and 13 actual years ago.

I'm sure a small trip into Ca will disturb some overly sensitive fanatics of some persuasion, but come on.

Well really, there isn't a whole lot that can be different other than New Arroyo.

If we're going into California that deep, then the map we saw brings to mind Newhall Pass.

I wouldn't mind seeing how CA turned out in the Fallout Universe after all these years (both in-game lore wise and in "real life" years)

Even if the original Fallout 1 and/or 2 map areas were recreated to approximate the original specifications using FONV's engine, it would look and be different due to it being 3D vs isometric view, etc.

There really wouldn't be anything different other than that then.

Judging from the title and the map found at Big MT, we won't be seeing much civilzation anyway.

I'll take your word for that :>

Isn't there an ending slide or holotape somewhere that hints at LR taking place deep inside NCR territory?
Could've sworn that I heard that somewhere.

I think Joshua Graham said something about the Divide wiping out or cutting off the NCR's supply line to Vegas, so I think it may be just be on the border between their lands and neutral territory.

Actually, we visited California's Southern half followed by the top half.

He is a gun nut and the Gun Runners are awesome, I don't think it's alluding to a future DLC.

I don't think there will be another dlc but I have a feeling that the gun runners will play some significance in lonesome road.

You should know that J.E. Sawyer has just about nothing to do with Lonesome Road besides perhaps tweaking weapon stats and playing it to offer suggestions.
