Seriously, what are your opinions on this?

If ANY skyrim DLC features Living Dwarves of any kind, i will never buy a TES game again. They are Taking a crap on their own Lore here.

Do you think they would actually do it?

I won't mind unless they make a good tie in with the lore or a good explanation on how does a few dwarves survived.

I don't mind a dwemer DLC as long as there are options to send their dwemer asses back to numidium again.

I wouldn't mind this at all but if i even get a hint of a single living dwarf i will go back to morrowind and dissapear for several years.

Snow Elves are not as problematic because that kinda makes sense

that was written in December and the following January they said the next DLC would be Redguard - make your own conclusions

anyway exploring the beginning or ending of the dwarves wouldn't be breaking lore, depending on how they did it - personally I'll just wait and see what comes out

This rumor is old and originated form reddit. A beth dev already already said the rumors weren't true. Well they said the rumors were misleading and made from "half-truths" whatever that means.

It says 'the beginnings of the Dwarves, Nords and Snow Elves'. This suggests to me that they plan so show the past, maybe something going on like Vermina's Torpor, but not reviving the vanished Dwarves.

I also hope they don't come back. I hate when they destroy their own lore (Halo: Reach).

First off, rumours, nothing else.

Also, I doubt Bethesda would be that half-assed to just say "Dwarves came back-magic!".

I trust them more than that

Yagrum Bagarn is (was) a Dwemer, and he had a good reason to still be alive. Why couldn't other Dwemer?

Because it is known that whatever happened to them, they are gone, you can see their ashes in various ruins in morrowind. While i understand that one or two may have survived (Dwemer are elves, Elves=Live long) I highly doubt that they are anywhere near Skyrim, they may not even be in Tamriel.

And sorry: Dwarves, Dwarf, Dwarven, Dwemeri, Dwemer :tongue:

I would love Dwemer DLC. Maybe not currently living Dwarves but perhaps the ability to go back in time and view the fall of Dwemer or even live it and be a part of it.
