Say a little sumthin'...

Hey everyone. I have had yet another wacky thread idea bouncing around in my head the past few days. This one is going to be different from the usual "Favorite NPC", though. :deal: Okay, here it is. NPC = Non Player Character, by the way, which is anybody in the game whom we cannot actually play.. See?

Anyways, here's how this one will work.

(1). In this thread, I shall name an NPC, and then then relay a little information about him or her. I might tell a story about this NPC, or talk about how this NPC has affected my roleplaying; anything you want to say. This thread's open to any thoughts we might have.

(2). Once I am done, I'll name another NPC. :deal: And if somebody comes along and wants to say a few things about this next one, feel free to do so. Once he or she is done, he or she gets to name the next NPC.

... and so on.

(3). Since this being unleashed in the General area, if you've got a spoiler associated with your tale, your snippet, your feelings towards a particular NPC, please put it in spoiler tags. Thank you.

So my first NPC I'm going to talk about is http://uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Burz_gro-Khash. This is the orc NPC who runs the Fighter's Guild in Cheydinhal.

I must say, neither I nor my last character who dealt with this orc liked him very much. I remember Dyan phor a'Cauz, my Paladin who was a member of the Fighters Guild and also did Knights of the Nine, could not stand him. He's overly rude and called her "meat" all the time. :swear:

I understand he's a tough guy, but Dyan did not like this tough guy. In Earth terms, Dyan was somewhat of a feminist. sixism is pretty rare in the land of Cyrodiil, but she always felt (as a woman) that he was calling her names due to her six. She did not ever hear him call Keld of the Isles or any other Cheydinhal guildmates (the male ones) meat.

I had another character, a Lawful Evil elf named Igodah Go^Pe, who tried to kill each and every orc living in Cheydinhal. I think she got 'em all except for Burz, who happens to be

Spoiler
Essential
since he's the leader of the guild.

Well, that's all I got to say about Burz, so let's move on to somebody else *looks at UESP*

How about http://uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Hil_the_Tall Anybody got some words they'd like to say about Hill?

Silvonwe, who was an Altmer, was amused at Hil's nickname. I think he was killed during Etta's campaign against Umeril. Other than that, I've got nothing good or bad to say about him. He's just another Nord, I guess.

Regarding Burz, he comes across as ex-military to me. Probably an old legion sergeant, home from a long posting at Gnisis in Vvardenfell.

How about http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Delphine_Jend? Anybody got anything to say about her?

Oh I like Hil, I always imagined him sitting by a tree, reading a priest-y book while little critters slept on his lap, for some reason I also imagine him trying to hug a bear and getting mauled

Delphine? Hmm, she kills little cute creatures! I got the mental image of her testing her spells against a cute little bunny, due to her dialog!

Glargg! You posted when I was going to post! :P

Let's see, how about http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Dar-Ma (Is it just me or is that website kinda slow today?)

Raven had a rather unique relationship with her, as I already said in some other threads, she once came to sleep next to him and she changed to her loincloth before doing this, so I figure that Raven was a key person in her experiment.

Ah, good old Dar-Ma, probably one of the most liked characters. Well, it happens that almost all of my characters saved Dar-Ma, even some of those that were evil. After all, they could hope on some reward from her or her mother. The only exception that despised Dar-Ma (and every other Argonian) was of course my snobby Altmer, Irenei the White. He told her "Buzz off, you piece of slime" when she approached him. :D

So, what about http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Jeanne_Frasoric?

Sorry, I mistook Delphine for Adrienne Berene of the Skingrad Mages Guild Hall. I don't have much to say about Delphine but I like to hear her enthusiastic voice when she tells you about her 'Enemies explode' spell. Which I have yet to try with some of my future characters.
