Hey! Kinda have an issue... We recently got a new computer with W8.1 and a lot of other lovely stuff but it still has Mcafee installed... (which causes a lot of problems for us). I need some help in two things...

Firstly, I am looking for a new program of some sort which does scans and cleans things up if it finds anything... But only does so when we want to do it manually and that it isn't on 24/7 type of deal. (Don't know these kinds of programs very well honestly...).

And secondly, how to exterminate Mcafee on a W8.1 PC? I can't seem to find the main uninstallation for it.

You can try using Control Panel>Programs and Features>Uninstall, some of the AV programs have a built in uninstall that will remove it all.
