I was just playing in shipment with this guy and he was using a scar with a laser sight and I was using my feline so I that I would have a definite advantage over him within close range but instead he was pwning me. The scar has a much higher clip capacity than the feline and somehow with a laser sight he was landing shots from the hip perfectly. I dont remember what his perks were because I wouldn't mind trying out the class he was using. I just never noticed how powerful that set up can be. I never used the laser sight because it feels like I would have a problem being stealthy with it. What do you guys think about the laser sight? what weapons and suit mods do you use it with?

I've used feline with laser sight since the day of release. I still have the exact same class what 4 months later in my current 5 classes.

Feline with laser sight = time to raqe. If you ever see me say that in game it means I'm using my feline class. Hahaha.

Does it really reduce spread or just provide a better gauge to follow for where your bullets are actually going? This always confused me.

I am from the orignal Crysis before even Wars was released. Technically I was one of few who truely utilized "all" the Nano Suite abilites in combos as most players used only the strategies you discribed.

Those who did not use stealth as it should be used, other than for bunking, would get raqed left and right by a player who used Speed > Armor > Cloak modes in combos on head to head combat.

The strategy game play that you decribed I found as a weakness in those players. I wouldnt even have to use a weapon other than my fists and I was famous for using my fists with Speed > Armor > Stealth modes to confuse players.

I personally hate the laser sight, I can't shake the feeling of people spotting it and giving away my position. Even though I'm pretty sure when you cloak it's invisible.

The laser becomes invisible when you cloak, but sometimes it bugs and becomes visible (for the player, he only sees the red dot)
