The damn run back through Uptown swarming with Trogs after shutting off the power in The Pitt.
I'm with you dude, those Trogs are just plain... *shiver*... bleh! I resorted to using a Stealth Boy but even then, having them crawl so near was *shiver* bleh! Reminded me of that movie Descent, only minus all the ridiculous and sublimely stupid girly screams and frightened panting to attract the *shiver* bleh... creepy ass crawly people things.
Dunwich was creepy as hell because the audio logs set it up so well, and the lighting is great. Could make a whole survival horror game out of Dunwich. Slow the PC down, make the only light source the Pip-Boy, change a bit of the character and Ghoul movement, expand on the story, give it a few more layers and levels, more ghostly moments... awesome.
Usually physcially react when a Yao Guai claws me up my ass, or an Albino Scorpion appears from nowhere behind me. Or there was a moment in the levels under Old Olney added by Broken Steel, as you approach an incline you hear a - I'm sure louder than usual - Deathclaw attack dead ahead. That scared the shweet beh-joo-zus outta me. I like jump moments.
