I've yet to find a place in the game that scared me. :P
Games specialized in scaring the player, such as Silent Hill or Penumbra, scare me. Fallout 3 being an Action RPG, it doesn't work. Even in the Dunwich Building. :foodndrink:

Craterside Supply is hands down THE scariest place in the game.
Dunwich Building freaks me out because I always get lost in there. Why doesn't my Pip-Boy have talking GPS? "Turn right, go up the stairs, watch out for the baddie who will jump you in 30-20-10 feet." I could really use that in there.

Hmmmm..... limited poll.... I will choose the Deathclaw Sanctuary, before I picked up the Dart Gun schematic.

There's not enough options. I'd pick Old Olney before any of the listed options, and as mpls Big Daddy pointed out, Deathclaw Sanctuary is another good contender, probably scarier than Old Olney (and I refer the the Broken Steel version of Old Olney, from the surface to the end of the Deathclaw areas).

Vault 92, in the bottom when you can hear the footsteps coming around the corner but everything else is silent because you do not listen to that horrible ThreeDog when you are sneaking in a scary, creepy vault all by yourself in your first playthrough and don't yet have Charon or Jericho to hold your hand and keep you safe and the footsteps keep getting closer and closer and closer but you have no idea what it can be, but you keep going because you really want to find that stupid violin for that nice old lady so you can collect the reward because you've come all this way through BloatFlys and Mirelurks and so you creep forward slowly with your weapon drawn and the footsteps keep coming and then you go around the corner and you see this:

Haven't been to those places except for Vault 106, but the scariest for me, was the vault that randomly went purple and you saw like 10 of your dads doing stuff. I forgot which vault that was. I want to say 87 for some reason..

Mirelurk Kings look like gowillas.

I think the scariest is the Ritual Site in PL. Especially since I thought ghost were around cause I saw a nuka-cola quantum spinning in the air.

Given the choices the poll gives me, I'd say the Vault.

Out of the whole game, the scariest place for me would be the Detention Camp in Point Lookout.

Yeah, I hate going to that place! It makes me feel bad for all those poor Chinese prisoners who were tortured and killed by the US millitary. I guess because it makes me think of Abu Ghraid, something I really wish I could forget about...

Also the Dunwich building is the only truely supernatural place in the game. There's definetly something evil and ghostly going on in there, unlike the other haunted places that turn out to be a hoax like Minefield and Herzog Mine. It didn't really scare me that badly, but it was definetly a cool place to explore.

Yeah, I agree. Place is eerie as hell.

Dunwich still makes me [censored] my pants when I'm there without companions, and Vault 92, 106 and 108 are kind of creepy, too.

^ I'm changing my vote to this. I forgot about it. I get lost in there worse than I do Dunwich. The last time I was in there I was going around in circles for so long (it seemed like hours) that I didn't even take the teddy bear.

And I met a freaking Reaver at level 7! >.<

Ouch! It is confusing in there.. and it's true, Reavers hit hard and throw radioactive poo bombs, but they are not as freaky or scary looking as http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/File:Mirelurk_King.png!

I may have to agree with you about that. At least you can kill http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/File:Mirelurk_King.png while shreaking. And then you can run away and forget all about it. All you can do about http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/File:Bryan_Wilks.jpg is hope is doesn't keep following you. I'm sorry the memory of it torments you so. :(

Franklin Metro. At high levels with broken steel there are at least 8 reavers in there. With a few instances of going against 2 at a time. It makes the presidential metro fight look wimpy

Same here, I always wanted to quickly complete the quest and get the hell out of that place..

I just went to Girdershade for the first time, he told me about the dunwich building, oh and if your at girdershade, go to his house but don't enter and go to the cliff look about NW but a little to the north, on mine theres two [censored] deathclaws, and idfc if it does remind me of a kitty NOTHING SHOULD BE THAT STRONG, and I said that for a whole minute when I left vault 92...[censored] the mini-gun, I'm using my gatling laser if I'm going there again.

Agreed! Old Olney brings back bad bad feelings/memories from the first time I wondered into it with my first char. SCARY!

If you want scary

Get lockpick skills up to 100 and then go back to

Andale :cryvaultboy: :unsure2:

And pick the lock in the shed and the the house with the locked basemant.

At my age that part freaked me out more than anything.
