Scenic Screenshot Thread #3

Post » Tue May 03, 2011 10:46 am

Am toying around with streamline and my texture-replacer bulk, nearing satisfactory FPS and beauty.
Here's what my environment looks like now, I'll get snapping when I'm done tuning.:)

I hope it will become your new public mod! :)

From which mod is this tower? I have no idea, yet I have it in game. :)

That picture is proof that amazing graphics can make even an uninteresting screen look stunning. Wow :o
And Arthmoor, I am really looking forward to OC Reborn. Bravil already looks awesome :D The Canolus screen is also awesome. I am obsessed with screenshots of the sun... half of my own include it.

http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/ll54/pero_lozhach/upperpainting01.jpg is not my screenshot, but a painting that I found while browsing Oblivion's textures. It shows a place that I don't recognise. Could it be Sutch? :)

Edit: a funny typo...

Interesting find. The location is a mystery to me, but Sutch seems like a likely candidate. It's too bad the vanilla paintings are in such poor resolutions.

Just a guess... I can't place it anywhere on http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/ll54/pero_lozhach/Clipboard02-19.jpg. But as you said, it's very low resolution.

I think that's either a photo or an actual painting. Every tombstone is unique, the lighting is realistic, there's a sharp edge between the grass and the path, and there's something above the ruin(?) in the background which could be a flag on a pole.
Doesn't look like Oblivion to me. Pretty place, though.

It's been a while but I found an old picture of the huge house mod I made (95%) probably a year ago before it got reformatted with the rest of my computer; thank God for photobucket.

And who could turn down http://s245.photobucket.com/albums/gg45/Darth_Napoleon/?action=view¤t=ScreenShot91.jpg

Hehe, dunno what happened to this thread, but time to revive it:

Back to one of my favorite areas:

http://tesnexus.com/imageshare/supporters/image.php?id=48
http://tesnexus.com/imageshare/supporters/image.php?id=49

http://tesnexus.com/imageshare/supporters/image.php?id=46

Finally have a semi-stable game up, and it's even purtier now thanks to the various OBGE plugins released so far :) As always, no photo-editing of any kind.

Experimenting with some different texture packs (e.g., Vibrant), and other mods. One day, I'll be happy with the resulting graphics. But for now, these are some of the steps I've been making along the way:

http://img805.imageshack.us/img805/5458/402k.jpg
http://img215.imageshack.us/img215/493/403r.jpg

http://img291.imageshack.us/img291/4403/501h.jpg
http://img816.imageshack.us/img816/9606/407.jpg

edit: Now with screenies. :)

People should seriously consider submitting scenic screens to Atmospheric Loading Screens. There are some beautiful shots here and I'd love to include some in ALS if the authors would be willing. I'd prefer direct submissions as I've no great desire to start chasing people (I have too much modding work on my plate as it is).

I switched from photobucket to imageshack...ENB is still awesome as it was a photobucket error for my "dark screens"

Could you send me your ENB setting? PLEASE!?

I'm usually more of a Vvardenfell person when it comes to screenshooting, but I'll make an exception...

If this was a question for Morrowind I'd be able to tell from the top of my head but this is an all new Oblivion install after a long long break so I'll have to check...

It's All Natural, possibly along with http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=7694.
